Can I sell my shares?

Not initially. Nor can shares be transferred to another owner. It is an investment in the community and our intention is to allow owners to redeem their shares after a period of time once a stable business is running. We estimate this to be approximately two years. At this point, subject to available funding, some shares may be redeemed for the original price paid (eg £250 per share).

In extenuating circumstances (for example, the death of a shareholder), the committee will consider this on a case-by-case basis.
